The Communities of Solarbron represent the realization of the charitable bequests and directions of former local residents, Sol and Arlene Bronstein. Their vision was to build a retirement community in Evansville where people of all races and creeds could continue to live and contribute as constructive, responsible citizens.

The wishes of the Bronsteins became a reality in 1985, with the opening of Solarbron Pointe Retirement Living, a continuing care retirement community, which has grown into one of Indiana's finest senior living communities.

With strong financial grounding and stability, the Bronstein's mission was further fulfilled with the addition of an assisted living community. The Terrace at Solarbron Licensed Residential Assisted Living opened in 1999, and today remains dedicated to providing a better quality of life for persons requiring more assistance. The Terrace strives to offer exceptional service promoting physical, mental, and spiritual well-being through "the grace of dignified living."
