It all began with a vision...

The origin of the name Solarbron stems from the names of its founders, Sol and Arlene Bronstein. Native Hoosiers, the Bronsteins worked hard and prospered in Evansville, Indiana. When they approached their own retirement years, they had a dream of a retirement community in Vanderburgh County where “those of mature years could live independently and fully.”

While the Bronsteins were not able to witness the fulfillment of their dream that became Solarbron Pointe in 1985, their inward vision is the thriving outward evidence of an expression of their faithfulness to a deep intent.

The Communities of Solarbron’s mission….by perpetuating the vision of the Bronsteins….is to “enrich the lives of those of mature years by providing exceptional service promoting physical, mental and spiritual well being thru the grace of dignified living….in that lies a splendid humanity.”
