Charles Goldman – A Unique Perspective
Charles was raised on a farm in Spencer County Indiana, near the town of Richland. When he graduated high school he came to Evansville. Charles started his career as a banker when a family member introduced him to an officer at Old National Bank where he worked for ten years. He then finished his career at National City Bank where he worked for 38 years. Charles was married to his wife, Ellinor, for sixty five years. They lived at the same address with the same telephone number for 44 years. They have a son and a granddaughter who live with their families in Charlotte, North Carolina, area and a grandson who lives with his family in Los Angeles, California area. Being a trust officer at the bank and managing the fund used to build Solarbron, he has a unique perspective on the community. When asked why he chose Solarbron he said it was simple. It is the finest facility of its kind and he would know, he was there from the beginning. Charles lives at the Pointe, the independent living section of the community.
